2.) Delhi is REALLY huge

Delhi has an area of 1,483 sq. kms. There are two parts of Delhi, old and new. It is so huge that it has been divided among four areas i.e. North, South, East and West. Travelling from one area to another takes a minimum of two hours. Also, let’s not forget the rest of the NCR region connected to it, mainly: Noida, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and others.

3.) Khari Baoli, a street in Old Delhi, is the Asia’s largest wholesale spice market

India is known for it’s spices and herb since many eras. The delicious and mouth- watering Indian food is famous because of it’s complex flavour pairing. The largest wholesale spice market is situated in Old Delhi in the Khari Baoli street. Other than spices, all kinds of nuts, herbs, tea and rice are also available.

4.) Every person in Delhi is “Bhaiya” or “Madam”

No matter how unsafe Delhi is considered, it is definitely a myth as here every man is called “Bhaiya” and every woman is called “Madam. Whether it is a chai wala, auto wala or a shopkeeper, you can address everyone by this name and they will be happy to help you.

5) The Metro services to rely on

Delhi metro is positioned as the second most popular and efficient metro service across the world – the first one being in New York. So do not hesitate to take metro to travel all around Delhi and the major NCR regions.
