We bring you the most happening events and Diwali melas to be held in Delhi in the following week.

1) Blind School Diwali Mela

The Blind School Diwali Mela is one of the most awaited events of Delhi. From clothes to home décor, you will find all Diwali essentials here. Not to miss the delicious food stalls. You will also find high quality accessories, sarees, quilts and crockery.

The most exciting part is ‘foot massage’. After a tiring day of shopping, you can enjoy a relaxing foot massage which is held for a good cause.

Where: Blind School Relief Association, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, Near Oberoi Hotel

2) Sunder Nagar Diwali Mela

Sunder Nagar Diwali Mela is more than 50 years old and considered the biggest mela out of all. The two day fest offers rides, food, shopping and magic show and much more. It is very crowded yet people love going here for the festive feels. Décor such as floating candles. diyas, lanterns, handicrafts etc. are available here.

Where: Sunder Nagar Colony Park, Near Delhi Public School, Sunder Nagar

Nearest Metro Station: Khan Market Metro Station

When: 22 – 23 October

Timings: 4 pm to 11 pm

Entry Fee: Rs. 100

3) Deep Utsav Diwali Mela

Every year the Delhi Tourism & Transportation Development Corporation organises the `DEEP UTSAV – DIWALI MELA’ in Dilli Haat Janakpuri. It’s main attraction are joy rides and camel rides. Besides this, they also organise a cultural program in the evening. One can also find handicrafts, handlooms and other decor products.

Where: Dilli Hatt, Janak Puri.

When: 21– 23 October

Timings: 11a.m.- 10 p.m.

Entry Fee: Rs. 20
