Beach mystery as emergency crews called as children ‘struggle to breathe’ after playing in sea off Essex coast

After receiving multiple reports related to children struggling and coughing as they tried to breathe, the local emergency services in Essex were called in to deal with the issue. This happened after the children came out from playing inside the sea water.

The Ambulance, fire service, and police rushed into this beach located by the 4th Avenue, Frinton. This emergency issue was noted to have been reported on Sunday around 2pm. Beachgoers mentioned that they were struggling to take the air in. However, the cause for the same is probably unknown as of now while the issue is currently under investigation.

Online speculations suggest that there might be an unknown fuel spill. However, the same hasn’t been confirmed by the police or ambulance service that catered to the emergency. A mother, out for a happy time with her family in the beach, mentioned the police that one among her daughters was gasping as she tried to breathe hard.

A local resident, Miriam Lansdell, mentioned that her daughter started frantically coughing and mentioned that she doesn’t feel good. She also mentioned that her daughter was experiencing pain while trying to breathe.
