A toddler who was attacked by a family dog had to be rushed to a hospital this past weekend.
The dog attacked the 1-year-old infant at a home located in east Hull.
The Humberside Police had been called to Preston Road region on the east side of the city on Saturday night. The child currently is being treated at the Hull Royal Infirmary for injuries which weren’t believed to be dangerous, as per a report by Hull Live.
The police immediately contained the dog and are thinking about what they should do with the animal.
Notably, in a previous case, a mother had warned about the hazards related to unrestrained dogs post her 9-year-old girl endured injuries in one Labrador attack last month at her aunt’s farmhouse. The girl, Lily-Fay Parfitt, screamt in agony due to the savage wounds on her lip and cheek when the pet dog charged sans any warning. The dog had taken off nearly 25% of the girl’s upper lip.
The girl’s mother, Kelly Parfitt, claimed that the surgeons had ranked her daughter’s injuries as 9.5 of 10 based on the scale of injury severity. She had then warned the other parents that all the dog breeds could be threatening and that they should keep their pets upon shorts leads near kids.
